Got the OEM brushguard today

good deal pretty easy to put on and it looks good.

Got a new radio, Pioneer AV-X4500BT with the GMOS-04 wiring harness (monsoon) there is a tweak you gotta do to set up the wiring harness that adjusts the chime and the actual sound and sound quality of the radio. I had Pioneers AppRadio and did not tune the harness and made the system sound like trash. Now it's great!

Alright, went to my local customs shop and told them I wanted LEDs for the off road lights and they found the proper LEDs for me. Not sure what brand or size but it's the size of the light in there. So to remove the bar unscrew the 6 screws holding the bar keep it on the roof and pull the old lights out swap them with the LEDs and put the screws back in and there you go!

How do they do on the trail/ how far do they project. I was told some of these led bulbs don't put out enough to actually light up a trail.

Not sure yet, they do seem a bit dimmer but I plan on going to HIDs and the OEM mini grille lights with LEDs as well so with all that lighting plus the fog lights I think it should be fine. But the key thing for me is the clean look as well as functionality.

There's a little more to it then just that.

Did they use the OEM harness?
How are the LED's mounted inside the pods?
What's the leanth, width and depth of the LED's?
Are the LED's sealed and water prof?
What's the lumes of the LED's?
What's the watts and amps the LED's are pulling?
Do they need a fuse and a relay?
Is it going to that factory light switch or after market?

This is all great info for you to know as well just so you have a better idea on how it all work how to fix it if something comes up. I would think there are a few members what would like to stick LED's in there. Looks really great and I think your the first to get this done. :thumbs:
