Hey guys, new member here.

I’m an American living in the Toronto Canada area. I needed something for these winters other than a Mustang so last year and picked up my 07’ H3. First year was great but this winter it’s started to have a few issues. The first one was the front wheel bearings going out which cost me around $2000. Then recently it started having idle issues and gave my code reader the dreaded P0305 code which can mean bad head. Luckily I’m in contact with the last owner and he said he already had the head changed back when it was under warranty. Of course that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not the head again this time but I’m hopeful. It only does it when it’s cold. If you let it fully warm up it idles and runs fine so kind of weird.

Anyway I stumbled across this forum while looking for answers and decided to join up. Look forward to talking with you all.

how does it do in the snow? I knew a girl who said winters in Canada were "terrifyingly cold."
The Hummer doesn't acknowledge winter exists. It drives through everything. LOL Does get pretty cold here but I lived in Wisconsin previously so about the same.

jonnhyspikesh3 old truck?
I bought it from a Ford dealer in Mississauga Ontario. The guy before me traded it in for a Raptor and I was lucky enough to find him on the Canadian Hummer Club forum.

BTW, in regards to my idle issue I had a little bizarre result. I switched the ignition coil from 5 to 4 and vice versa to see if the problem then moved to cylinder 4. I started it up and it ran fine. Let it fully warm up and not a single stutter in the idle. I assume the problem will return in some form but for now I'm just going to go with it.
