We'll be there from friday before (gotta hang with the Heeps for a bit) till sunday. We'll be booking with the Lazy Lizard this week!

How is it with bringing a baby/kid to the Lazy Lizard? By the time this trip happens our daughter will be 18mo and we're debating on where to stay w/ her. Thanks for the help!

Get a private cabin there... gravy. For us it worked out great. (Tucker was 16 months on this trip)

That place is more like staying at a KOA than what I'd consider a "Hostel" kind of feel. Pretty cool place to stay with a decent bit of privacy really.

The pics make them seem smaller than they are... with a pack & play against the wall, there was about 2' of space to walk between it & the bed. Considering you can stay 3 nights there for the cost of one at a hotel... I'm sold. Much less of a hippie-ish group of folks than I expected as well, each of the cabins I saw had a family in it, and everyone was really nice.

You've also got a pretty private "yard"

We cooked our food on the table here (you could use the kitchen inside, but it's easier to keep an eye on nutbag this way!) and hung out here for a bit after tucker went to bed...
Oh, and they look rustic, but they have power & heat... requirement for the little guy. Running the Jeep all night to Keep Tucker warm got old fast at Neo's. Maybe by next fall he'll be ready for a sleeping bag and sleeping in the cold a bit more.

Recon & Hans, start making plans to meet up and caravan out to Moab with Trailbreaker in April. This is already shaping up into a "don't want to miss, once-in-a-blue-moon" week of wheeling. Hope you 2 can make it. You too Skippy!

I will ask my boss now...this has been a dream of mine for years...

I'm in. I just submitted my vacation request so there's no way it can be denied. I'll be trying to convince Fru to come with his shiny new Raptor as well! Is it April yet!?!?!? :giggle:

I am more than likely in. I will find out about time off tomorrow and go from there. I have the best wife in the world so she would only kick me in the ass harder to get me out the door to go play with all you guys. Had a blast last April and would love to come again. As for taking my "shiny new raptor", I don't even have it yet and I have a lot I want/need to do to it to get it "Moab" ready. But we will see.

that would be cool, someone needs to get a hold of T-bone... we could have two Raptors on this run, he had his truck set up really well for Moab when it was here last.

I hope you could go fru. T bones raptor is badass, can't wait to see what you do with yours. Moab is probably a much different experience behind the wheel.

If the Raptor is not ready yet you can ride out with me if you need a ride. We can convoy with anyone who wants to go.

Thanks guys. I have a lot of ideas and will all include me doing the fab work; ie. bumpers, roof rack, sliders, and so on.

I'm out unless some extreme circumstance changes. I'll be relocating around that time. I was hoping to make this one, but then CA went and did more stupid things.

I will try to make it back out for this. Had a lot of fun this year. I know one thing I won't be towing my pop-up thru the mountains. It looks like a hotel or cabin this year. Put me down for 2, I will be bringing the family and kids again.

Well, I got the go ahead from the wife and work. If I have the raptor ready, I will be bringing it. Otherwise I will be riding with Chris in his rubicon.

Hey all. It's been a while since I've posted on here. As most know I sold my 3T Alpha a couple years ago but haven't given up on off-roading. Put me down for a maybe for next springs run. As long as you all don't mind me wheeling in this:
image_zps128dc6ea.jpg

its a 2012 Super Duty, already put a 6" lift and 37" tires, has a rear locker already and a 271:1 TCase, a 12000LB Winch and some LED lighting. I will be bringing my wife along with me this year so she can experience Moab. We will spend only a couple days with you guys before heading out to explore the entire Rocky Mountain area to see where our next move would be. We are looking at relocating out west somewhere in the next few years and want to start scoping out the area.

Cant wait it to see all my friends again.

Jason

It may be fun.
