eta: and that guy (second owner) (owner of the dealership) only had it for about six months... Why? Does he just go through cars that fast, or is there something else to it. Watch out for the crooks man. There are a bunch of them in car sales...

This is what i did. 14 hr round trip. It was fun and well worth it.

Apparently it's perfect, but i'm going to be looking for sure. He said no scratches, looks like it just came out of the factory. No rust anywhere. Suspension is great, it just came out of the service shop and he can fax me everything they've looked, everything they've greased. I'm going to keep him up to his word, and go through everything on that car.

Anything I should look at specifically?

The Alpha is more composed, less side to side movement (ie when droping off kerbs one wheel at a time) and you can get away with not using extended bump stops (to a certain limit that is)

Nope, I like the ride more. I opted not to instal the extended bump stops, they really roughen up the truck and how i was levelled @ 23.25", there was no floatiness or nose dives!
