Jiffy Tite Disconnect Tool

Has anyone ever used these in the H3 transmission lines? Are they a waste of money because I'm having one hell of a time freeing the transmission lines from the transmission! Not a lot of space.

I did but don't trust half the reviews on Amazon.

I found it easier to unclip the lines on the side of the engine oil pan and partially drop the transmission 2-3 inches to get to the lines and dipstick.

You can. Pop the clips with an extra small flathead screwdriver.

Are you dropping the transmission? If so lower it first and do the cooler lines last after you drop it a bit. There is not much room at all to get to the lines with the trans up in the tunnel.

If you aren't, drop the cross member and let the trans fall a bit and that may give you enough room.
