My name is Craig and I drive a 1995 6.5L NA H1 Hummer Wagon. I purchased my H1 in 2013 from a great guy in Kauai, HI. Even managed to drive it on the island before shipping it to Long Beach, CA. My brother, wife and myself road tripped it back to Houston through sandstorms, rain, and 128 degrees in Palm Springs with no working AC...We lived!
I've been a member on the HML for a while and thought I'd join up here to continue learning more and find out about additional off road events and nearby Hummer drivers.
Another H1 Hummer driver and I have been working for the better part of a year to create the beginnings of a web-based show called "HumveeLife". An entertaining and educational look into the world with a focus on the H1 Hummer as well as the other Hummers and HMMWV.
The H1 Hummer came and went before Youtube had a chance to see what this machine was made of and all of its capabilities. Most of the videos are more “what not to do with your Hummer” on Youtube than anything entertaining, helpful and promoting safety. We will be taking it into the various terrains, environments and situations to both demonstrate its intended purpose and show the fun and tough aspects of each adventure. We will have a number of things planned that we will slowly reveal as they are ready.
Part of creating HumveeLife is involving the community, especially since there are only 11,800+ H1’s that were manufactured (and who knows how many are still drivable). There will be instances when HumveeLife will be in your area, or hosting or attending an event, and we would enjoy having your Hummer added to our entertaining footage so you can show your friends and family…and all those people that drive Jeeps.
You can already find us on multiple social media sites and we’d enjoy your contributions and participation. The website is currently being designed and we have gear under development.

We appreciate your support and sharing our videos as we start up and hit the internet as we can't make this work without the support of the Hummer community. You can see the first video on the link below.

I look forward to being involved with y'all and hopefully being able to meet some of you at events and around Texas.
