Hello all i have 2008 h3 base

My motor died last night leaving me on foot
And those motors are junk ever h3 I see for sale has a bad one so I picked up a 5.3 I still have to go get it. But who's swaped the 3.7 for the 5.3 any help would be appreciated the 5.3 I got has all wiring and bolt ons needing some add vise on this job I got to get done

If you want, start a new thread in this H3 section with a more appropriate title to gather attention about your proposed swap. The H3 engine is pretty good but the big downfall is that cores are hard to come by, and secondary owners (which is a lot of the H3s on the market) often don't take as good of care of these vehicles. They see a bargain deal for what was once an expensive vehicle and buy more than they can afford - thus maintenance is skipped, or due diligence upon buying.

I agree that a 5.3 swap is a good way to go.
