Heater Switch Really Hot!

Hey all,
My window heater rocker switch is hotter than hell! It's not on, no light on, nothing, but still very hot. So is the trim around it. Too hot to touch for very long. I can switch the heater on with no difference in heat. Could this switch be heated from behind? Maybe engine or exhaust heat? It was over 100 today.
Anyone else see this?

Strange.
I normally turn my headlights on when driving the H1. The switch feels hot but the light is off. I can switch it on and off with the switch and the orange light turns on and off.
For kicks and grins, I turned off the headlights going home last night and the switch was nice and cool. It must have something to do with the lights. Maybe the small lamp behind the switch. Although it doesn't light when the headlights are on. It must be shorting out in there. Time to check!
