H2 potential purchase

Have myself a couple of h2 I have seen locally

Can you give me some potential pitfalls and things to look out for
And any hidden surprises , vital planned maintanece
So I do not look like a complete nunce
I need to talk the talk
One is a 2003 other is 04

Leaks and creaks. Check the headliner for any discoloration in the 4 corners or the roof. Sometimes the roof marker lights leak. I've seen lots of them on dealer lots like this. Creaking interior panels, broken door panels ($$$), etc. Any drive train leaks.

Wear on the front end components. Transfer case shifting, etc, etc.

Weekend hummer shopping

It's amazing what some people try and hide

On purposely park it so the natural light don't catch

But get upset when you point it out

If your h2 is immaculate
Make sure it is that

Not a cover up

I don't really care if the black leather seats have no rips

When underneath the exhaust and car are rusting and rear hinges and so on


Plenty more fish in the sea
From other reviews and post I think
It would have to be 2005>. Now

Good luck with your search. A lot more fish in the sea...just keep casting, catching and releasing until you find the one you want to take home.

Lots of good H2s out there. I have seen many with high mileage that were in real nice shape.
