I did a very similar upgrade on my H3 Alpha.
I didn't touch my oil cooler lines but used the same electric fans you are using. Since the H3's radiators are prone to failing at 100,000 + miles, I took the opportunity to replace with an all-aluminum tig welded radiator. I'm at 80,000 miles, but I had everything apart, so it made sense. Plus, I got the radiator for a very good price (CSF for $400). I got the high amp alternator as well.
There was some learning curve, mostly with adding pins and getting a good connection with the pins in PCM. PCM of NC was great and helped with any questions. I have tweaked the settings though HP Tuners to get optimized settings. I did swap out my thermostat (Motorad) for one set at 160 deg. My tuning through PC of NC was for performance using 96 octane, so even with improved cooling, I still had some temperature creep after long running. I adjusted my fan tuning along with the thermostat. I am in Hawaii, so summer can get hot and humid, with lots of slow traffic. The fans really helped with things running hot at slow speed.
Things have been running smoothly since then (about 2 years now) without any issues. I am really happy with the upgrade so, think it was a very good choice.
Here is the bad news.... CSF Radiators are Chinese trash. I went through two of them on my old 07, both leakers. The first one lasted all of about 4-5 months then started dripping from where the cooling tubes were welded to the side tank in the back. Got that one replaced under the CSF "Lifetime Warranty", they just sent me a new one. The replacement made it about a year before it too started leaking, same thing, welds cracked and seeped.
I took the first leaker and had it fixed at a local Radiator Shop (Superior Radiator) that makes Radiators for custom vehicles, classics, muscle cars etc. and happens to be a neighbor of my Mother. They leak tested it, found the leak, re-welded that, then pressure tested it. Charlie (owner) told me do NOT run Dexcool in an all Aluminum Radiator, too corrosive. Run the old yellow stuff. He also said they repair CSF all the time because... their welds are prone to failure from poor workmanship and they use super thin aluminum materials. He had another one sitting by the back door waiting for repair from a customer drop off.
So when that replacement leaked I went round and round with CSF about their Lifetime Warranty........... which after to carts of horse chit, they finally said the warranty only applies to the one I purchased not the replacement. Way to stand behind your product aye?
So I pulled the replacement leaker and put in the repaired first leaker and ran the yellow stuff compatible with all coolants since some small amount of Dexcool had to be in the system. Then I drained that after a few 100 miles and refilled with clean yellow stuff. Sold that truck about a year later with no leaks on the repaired first leaker at that time. I then took the replacement leaker and had Superior repair that. That one is in my parts stash to use when my 09 Alpha OEM Radiator decides to leak. Then Charlie is going to make one for my truck as the last one I will ever need.
I have been running a SuperModulation SFan 4500 with digital controller for almost three years on the 09 Alpha, works perfectly even with my TSP Stage 2 Low Lift Cam, all the performance goodies and our Air Doc Intake.
Never ever again will I buy CSF anything.
Good luck. Just be ready for the inevitable CSF failure.
