All just a project I put together and I thought I'd share what I did because I couldn't find a detailed way to dual mount a firestik. The metal brackets were 6 bucks each at Lowes. Cut em to size and bent the ends to provide a flat surface. Mounted a small rubber stopper on the inside to prevent it from rubbing the paint. And the 35" tire holds everything tighter than I thought. Fun 2 hour project that really stands out in my opinion. Hope this helps.

I've always heard if your antennas are to close they will actually not work as well so maybe this helps that as well. Is that metal stiff enough to resist bending under constant wind pressure?

The metal is fairly flexible, but the tire holds it firm in place....it's been days with driving at highway speeds and I haven't had to make any adjustments. I'm really happy with it. I would have paid $100 for a products that had the same effect if I could have found one.
