I don't think you want to increase the flow rate of the coolant, if it can't spend enough time either absorbing or releasing heat then you may end up with issues. The radiators are small as it is and reducing the amount of time the coolant is in there will very likely hurt more than help. I wouldn't be surprised if based on the ratio of radiator to displacement the stock pump is already considered "high-flow." The radiator on my 2002 Suburban with a CI 5.3L is probably nearly twice the size of the Alpha's.
