Shall I dare ask? Are you still trying to use the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors? Since the absolutely suck, and allow for inconsistent connection of the main harness, they too can cause your issue. If you still have them, get rid of them and replace with a quality aftermarket set.

I have never seen a broken Alpha Exhaust Manifold. What almost always does happen is one of the bolts fastening the Exhaust Manifold to the head breaks off (possibly more than one can break off) and then the manifold does not seal completely. Easy fixes available for that, no replacement...

You pulled the plug holding the bypass valve to add your Oil Pressure Gauge. Did you leave the bypass valve in place? BTW the plug is metric, not SAE.
