So...what are we doing with 2025 Black Sheep week?

There hasn't been much activity in that thread and normally we have 15+ commitments by now, with some eventually dropping off and others coming on later. We're far from that right now.

I'm checking in to see if there's still people planning on going, or if we need to make changes. Does it need to be a different week, or a different location like back to Moab? Do I need to volun-told EndeavoredH3 to organize and lead the event? Free DQ Blizzards?

Let me know what y'all are thinking and if this trip is viable. I'm about to begin my prep for next April (yes, I begin in fall) so I want to be properly prepared.

If you throw in free DQ I'm in. At least for part of the week. Would prefer Moab as its closer but sand hollow was great as well.

Well, we're in about the same place as when I started the conversation. One commitment and a few hopefuls. I'm not very comfortable gambling the $2000 AirBnB, some other expenses, and the week of PTO on hope. It's a few months away and I'm not going to do anything yet, but I may have to decommit and later recommit if this comes together at the last moment.

We could be shifting a bit in where these young 'uns begin to take over the events as some of the older folk have too many other commitments, myself included. Again, not there yet, just trying to read the tides.

Maybe put a vote thread and see if a shorter long-weekend type trip is more appealing to others.

People can come and go as they please now. For most the trip justifies a longer stay. It would take me two days to get there and two to get back, long days. If I do that I am staying for awhile.

The beasts from the east will be coming, I believe we have 5-6 rigs this year coming. Hopefully we leave with the same amount .
We have been discussing like 4 days at sand hollow then hitting moab for 2 days on our way back. But we are good for whatever. We have wheeled both, seems like the wheeling is more technically at SH which is what we like and makes the drive worth it.
