I think we're at a point where we need to start making the official GM/Hum you just got shafted ~ surprise List lol!

I'm in need of the passenger inside door seal (you know the one...it rest against the area of the body that freezes and pulls the strip out of the underside of the door with lil baby blue_green mini plastic t's)?
Ummm yep, that one... It is fully discontinued. My GF pulled the door and rip Lol!


Yes, I lube them each season with silicone spray but -11 to -4 deg kind of doesn't care.

I mean color me stupid... a rubber door weather strip! Someone at GM was sitting around thinking "jeeze I don't think anyone would ever need one of those"

Frustrating, I know, but the reality is the newest H3s are now 15 years old. I get it.

It's a bummer - older vehicle, relatively small production runs, short life and limited aftermarket support. Not good for long term maintenance forcing everyone to get a bit more creative.

Yes. Creativeness is necessary. But, lol I can't whip up a door seal from scratch.

I have a feeling my truck has some weatherstripping thats not for the h3 as near the tops it certainly isn't snug against the corners and leaves a small gap(unless thats normal) Could not tell you the part number on it though

Well, I'll keep looking but unless the seal gods smile down on this lil hummer of mine...
