Hello all,

My name is Chad, and I’m the proud owner of a 2009 Hummer H3T Alpha. I was fortunate enough to find it for sale spring 2024 with about 53k miles on it. Now she sits at around 60k miles.

This is my second Hummer H3 (not at the same time). I’ve only modified it slightly with some Method wheels, Yokohama 35” tires, security system, LED lighting, backup camera, and head unit.

Oh, and I’m happy to be here. I look forward to engaging and supporting the community. Anyone local to the Bay Area, I’m always down to meet up and talk Hummer stuff in person, go wheeling, camping, etc. Thanks for having me!

You were lucky to find a low-mile Alpha. I had a base 3T in the same color with a 5m. I bought it as a retirement gift to myself sixteen years ago. I sold it when Covid started and it helped me to financially survive during that difficult time. I'm dating myself here but as I got older difficult decisions have to be made. I do miss that truck. It had 120K when sold and wound up in Utah, I believe.

I definitely feel lucky. I was in high school when these trucks came out, and dreamed about owning one since. The financial opportunity arose, and conveniently so did the perfect truck (In my eyes). I had been shopping around only to find examples with much higher mileage than I was comfortable with (having already owned an H3). This one was in Texas, and I bought it sight unseen. But it all worked out.

Was just looking at that order! I ran out of light bar shipping boxes, will have more on Monday, when I'll box it up and ship.
No worries! I removed the a-pillars to find that they were glued on, and have an idea (piggy backing off someone else’s) using your brackets to reinforce the a-pillar for those who have broke mounting clips.

Welcome! I’m in Oakland, CA. Not too far from ya. Got a 2010 Alpha myself. Not a T though.
