Geez and they don't even realize that Moab would be nothing without the tourists. Typical NIMBY. I saw a lot of them in California. The worst of the Not In My Backyard types were usually the newest residents too. Maybe EJS, BSHS and some of the other events should consider moving to other locations, maybe Colorado. Certainly have felt some disregard if not outright hostility from some Moab people already. Maybe let the weirdos have their little commune. See how they like it when half the stores and eating places in town close for good.

I guess they could go back to mining if they don’t want the tourist. Doubt that they would really want to do that.

Most of Southern Utah has done this. No camping unless your a resident. Even residents are shelter in place.
They're reasoning is. They don't have the resources to deal with this virus. If they have to rescue someone and have to keep them in intensive care. That's one less bed for the people who live there.
And let's face it. There will always be some idiot that will do something that resulted a chopper of icu need.

I should have been at a Walmart parking lot west of Oklahoma City spending the night half way to Moab.

I would have been in Monticello, UT tonight having dinner with 3hummers, with an early morning drive to Moab tomorrow.

I'd be passing through Las Vegas about now. Oh well, happy Easter H4O crew.

I want to wish Happy Easter to the H40 Crew as well. Looks like God had another plan for us this Easter. Enjoy spending this time your families.

Yep, that was the trip Zack drove it out from Cali so I could get it home to Texas. Found out on Hell's gate that there was more wear than I thought in the front end.

Just a tad. Lol. Then the battery/alternator issue on the way home. Awesome accommodations at the Wills Fargo hotel in Baker. [emoji39]. All in all, Great trip with the break down

70’s and sunny here today. Should have been wrapping up the week today and getting ready for the 24 hour drive home. Hate I didn’t get to meet you guys in person and thank many of you in person for the help and advice you have provided me over the last couple of years. Hopefully we can make it next spring.
