Auxiliary Gas tank

Has anyone ever thought about moving their exhaust lines outside of the frame rails and installing another H3 gas tank on the passenger side? You would have to go to dual exhausts and turn them out in front of the back tires. There are folks out there that make small quiet round mufflers. I have already taken measurements. That same gas tank will fit in there. Have not worked out on filling it, but it can be done. Maybe putting the same setup on the passenger side.

Man, if we can make this happen, we can double our capacity.

Assuming H3, there was a company that built an aux tank for the H3. Was very pricey though

I’ve been contemplating an aux tank. My range is down to about 200 miles a tank. Part of that might be a dented tank so I need to fix that but I’ve looked at speedway “spun” aluminum tanks and tiny transfer pumps

" The Long Ranger" was the name, would have loved to import one...
