Ended up replacing Clutch fan

Purchased a new fan clutch (Hayden 2787) heavy duty. It took only a short time to replace it and the rotation of the fan and the engine idle are much improved.:giggle:

Figured it was time to do it after the water pump p!ssed all over me.

Was it slipping ...or seized solid? Or was it just a 'preventative' replacement.

It began chattering, wobbling-ish... The new one is rock steady solid and no chattering.
This was for 3.7l i5.
