Hey all,
Just got back from a "Day of Resistance - Protect The 2nd Amendment" rally here in Victoria, Texas. What a day it was. I know the title sounds like some hippy sit in, but it wasn't like that at all. Just good, patriotic, God loving people getting together to talk about Freedom and the right to protect ourselves.
Not a lot of people, maybe 200-300. Some Tea Party and conservative names there.
There was a lot of Texas history talked about. Most of all there were words used like Liberty, Justice, America, and the Constitution. Words I haven't heard in a very long time! The last 4 years felt like I was in a country with a dictator and no freedom. Going to the rally today was like I came back home again. They started the rally with the Star Spangled Banner, The Pledge of Allegiance, and a Prayer! It was fantastic!
