Sometimes I'm located in
Thicket/ Beaumont

Rigs:
H2 & H3

Level of mods:

Level of off road experience:
Depends on the terrain, intermediate in some pro in others.

Usual turf
Rocky terrain in SoCal & AK to deep mud in Southeast TX.

I'm as prepared as I'm going to be.

Travel almost any distance if time from work is permitting.

Love meet-n-greets and non-wheeling events just as good as off road events.

I'm in Texas once are twice a year. It depends on the wife's work. Sometimes we are down for 2 weeks to a month or two. The wife just made rank so her job is on the shopping list 2015 so hopefully we will move from Kodiak next year.
Luckily a position will be available in San Antonio so that will be our number 1 pick. On downside a position will be available in Kodiak as well and I have a feeling the CG will leave us here.

Moving chapters...

Figured I'd post-up on this thread after finally getting down from VA to TX...

Where are you located:

City of Dallas in the Great State of Texas

What rig are yourunning:
'09 H3T Alpha

Level ofmodifications:
Mild - so far (BA Bumper, 10k winch setup, RockyRoad Sliders, OEM UCP, Blacked out, Safari Rack with integrated off-road lights, CB setup).

What level of off-roadingexperience do you have:
Outdoorsman

What is your usualturf:
Moved down to Dallas and got the T down here in March so nothing local in TX yet. In Virginia area I was mostly doing fire trails and some of the VA/WV State Park/Public land Off-road trails. Mostly rock steps and dirt stuff. Looking forward to getting out in the Southwest.

How prepared are you:
Believe in being as prepared and self-reliant as possible - not just for myself but to be ready to help others!

How far are you willing to travel for an event:
6-12 hours depending on the event/how many folks are going.

Accommodations:
Anywhere my truck is - I actually found that a Full air mattress fits snuggly in the bed of my H3T - I'm working on a tent setup for the integrated rail system but have slept out under the stars in the bed of my truck - damn comfy (unless it's raining of course) and a good 3 ft off the ground!

What is on yourbucket list for regional wheeling:
Still learning TX trails/spots - so suggest some for me! Definitely want to hit Marble Falls and TX Rocks though...

How do you feel about local Meet-n-Greets or non- wheeling events:
(If it aint got dirt on it I aint interested, just needs a good bar and some decent grub)
I'm down for both but predominantly interested in events where I can do some off-roading and learn from other folks who've been at it longer than I have.
