Ugh I went to HS at MMA in Harlingen. Don't miss the dumba$$ drivers down there! SPI isn't all that bad though. How are things on the border now-a-days anyways?

Btw I will answer all of these questions about myself tomm as I'm originally from TX, moved to NM for awhile before coming to SC. However I will be moving to CO after this current school year is over! Gah I can't wait to be back that way! Not about to try and answer all these questions now on my iPhone.

Can take care of myself but will rely on a god spotter.
How far are you willing to travel for an event:

Not quite the ends of the Earth but I wouldn't consider most of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, or Louisiana out of reach.
Accommodations:
(Hotel, tent or cardboard box will do)
This depends on when and wear. I aint camping in 110 degree heat and I aint stayin in a hotel if the weather is nice and were in a scenic area.
What is on yourbucket list for regional wheeling:
(Barnwell, Galveston, Marble Falls, TX Rocks)
Done most of the ones listed but would gladly do them again. I'd have to say Moab has a firm place on my list as well as a few other area of our great nation.
How do you feel about local Meet-n-Greets or non- wheeling events:

Local meet and greets are great. Even meating up in a parking lot to shoot the breeze and trade some parts is fun.

I don't make it over here very often so shoot me a PM if you guys are doing a run or a meet up and I'll do my best to make it.

I'll play your game old man...

Where are you located:
Austin Metro

What rig are yourunning:
H3

Level of modifications:
Mild - all cosmetic except for tires (33), rack, brush guard - and that's pushing the boundaries of being considered useful.

What level of off-roading experience do you have:
Given the choices, I guess I'll go with expert.

What is your usual turf:
These days, I'm lucky to see anything other than pavement under the tires.

How prepared are you:
Whenever possible, I carry along a GM Worldclass ASE Tech w/ Hummer and H1 certification - because I know what's broke, but I'm not fixin' it.
I've done a couple hundred recoveries, so there shouldn't be any issues there. I still follow the buddy rule.

How far are you willing to travel for an event:
Depends on the event...I'm getting lazy in my old age. But I've flown in to several.

Accommodations:
Hotel is my style - camping equipment doesn't typically off-road well in my experience. I like my truck empty as can be if possible.

What is on yourbucket list for regional wheeling:
I should probably check out Marble Falls since it's only 20 minutes away...Galveston, while fun, wasn't all that exiting from an off-road standpoint. Barnwell is OK - but the level of morons out there can be a bit much.
It's not regional, but I'd like to someday take part in the rock-based, western wheeling (e.g Moab).

How do you feel about local Meet-n-Greets or non- wheeling events:
All about 'em as long as I don't have to drive very far.

Where are you located:
Austin, TX

What rig are yourunning:
H3 Lux (see signature)

Level ofmodifications:
Mild ... it's a Lux. Wish I could get Wild.

What level of off-roadingexperience do you have:
Expert - I grew up in this state driving, watching and learning.

What is your usualturf:
Hidden Falls Adventure Park / Private Property

How prepared are you:
I can take care of myself.

How far are you willing to travel for an event:
I am dying to road trip to Cabo - same exact trail as the Baja 1000, but a few weeks to a month after the actual race. I'd also like to road trip to Alaska - see Top Gear's Best American 4X4 Truck Challenge. Taylor Pass and area in Colorado also are on my list.

Accommodations:
I've slept on the roof of my truck - I'd do it again.

What is on yourbucket list for regional wheeling:
Colorado ... 14k foot mountain passes ... Taylor Pass, etc. It's the USA equivalent to the Death Road in Bolivia.

How do you feel about local Meet-n-Greets or non- wheeling events:
If it aint got dirt on it I aint interested
