    Front diff crossmember bolt MIA

Got under the T earlier and was pulling some unused wiring from previous owner out. Then I noticed it... my front cross memberís bolt and washer has gone bye bye.. wondering if anyone has the specs of the bolt so that I can replace it? I canít seem to find just the bolt or mounting hardware alone online. Thanks in advance.

Bummer! Unfortunately there are a LOT of parts on our rigs that are not listed as standalone (good chance this one is a package deal with the crossmember). If you want an OEM part, you can stop by your local dealer to look it up, but then you'll probably pay $10 for a $1 bolt. But something to keep in mind if you are in a pinch and need a direct replacement. Or maybe a salvage yard, though I have heard there are two in the USA that are hoarding all Hummers on speculation that GM will discontinue most parts for our trucks, eventually.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they did... that’s why I have plans on buying a parts truck

yeah I was trying to avoid the stealership by any means necessary. Was hopeful that someon had the bolt specs.. gonna dig some more though. Thanks for the reply

I had the same issue a while ago. I ditched the factory bolt and captive nut and used a 10.9 bolt and Nylock nut. I forget the mm length.

Same here! The bolt snapped in half and only one half remained on the truck!

    Pretty sure it's a M12 1.75, probably about 100mm to 140mm or so.

There's no reason to use the OEM bolt here. Get a good bolt/nut to replace, like has been suggested.
