How do I disengage the chirping noise upon unlocking or locking the doors?

My factory alarm does not chirp it honks the horn. Do you have an aftermarket alarm?

Look in the owners manual. I changed mine to not beep and only flash the lights.

Yep you have to program it. It's under the DIC stuff in the owners manual.

not answering the question, but i thought something was wrong with mine because it doesnt beep at all when i lock it. Glad to see its a setting, im not goin to change it though
