Got my tires installed today. My KM2s (305s) were very good to me and I pulled them off at 55,000 miles, not for lack of tread but for really bad cracking due to dry rot. They just were not safe any longer.

I moved away from the KM2s only due to price. Hankook Dynapro MTs were $80 less per tire. They've won some shootouts with Four Wheeler magazine so I thought I'd give them a try.

Here's a picture of the installation

Damn tire won't fit! At least according to the installers. I will have to play with it on Saturday.

Spare tires are overrated anyway. I have a baking pan that I'm willing to cut loose and sell you for just $250.75 that will cover that spare tire holder.

...oh, and a pic or 2 of the new tires installed might be appropriate given the topic of your thread! :sly:

OEM or aftermarket? How will it affect my mpg? Does it come with bushings for the door?

It's that really rare OEM black powder coated one that's been dyno-tested to improve MPG by no less than 57% guaranteed because of the slotted fins cut into the baking pan that runs circles around that aftermarket version.

...I will include the door bushings for no additional cost. Just try finding those bushings anywhere and you will realize what a great deal this is!

Alex, My 35s fit with the Gobi Ladder. My wheel offset is different but the OEM wheels should still be ok for clearance.

Skippy, I adjusted my speedo for the bigger tyres electronically using the Hypertech performance module (& my GPS) so now it is more accurate than Factory setting.

What offset are you running on ur truck? Im currently running +10 but in the process of goin with somethin with less offset and worried they would hit the oem fender flares.

From memory they are +0 (I tried to double check online but they are now discontinued) With the 35's the sidewall is out but the tread is at the limit of the edge of the flares
