    New Chevy Colorado

So I've been really getting into the new Colorado and wanted to know what you guys think about it. I think they did a great job on the truck but the swoop window is one of the areas I don't like but all in all it could be a replacement for the HUMMER. Few things it has an all new frame and shares the triple-sealed cab as it bigger brother plus the 2016 model will have a 2.8 diesel engine.

I like the diesel...not much else. I feel like chevy doesnt make real tough trucks anymore, especially after the silverado has the carpet fenderwells to help with roadnoise.

I saw one at the auto show today. It had a beach patrol scheme. It looked a lot better than the previous models.

I am sorry that everyone cannot own a Hummer; some folks have to drive a Jeep or a Toyota.

I think its a good looking rig. Looks like it might be hard to build a front bumper assembly with that front end set up though. I may have to take a test drive in one, especially when the diesel comes out. Wonder if there is a blazer version in the pipeline.

I haven't seen one in person yet but I suspect I'll like it. For example, the new Cherokee is hideous in pictures but I like it in person, or at least I've grown to tolerate it. Heck, if it looks Toyota-ish and they can take Tacoma sales - good for them!

I like, and with the diesel - it will definitely be on my radar screen when it's time to send the H3 back to dust (my 'normal' vehicles I tend to keep for 500,000 miles)

I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing one this weekend at the DC Auto Show.

I think the truck looks "OK"... If I am remembering what I read correctly, the new Colorado is not much smaller than the Silverado. I think it should have been smaller to truly compete against the Tacoma.

I think if the GMC all terrain is nicely set up I could get it.
