So I knew you couldn't chamber 5.56/.223 into a 300BLK configured rifle, the inverse apparently isn't true... whoops on whoever did this.

The lower will handle either round. The upper has to be changed. They are lucky someone didn't get hurt.

300 black out was designed to use the same magazine and lower as 223/5.56.

Yep. I have several ARs in 300 BO. Not a big fan of the round though.

I've never shot 300 BO. The round never made much sense to me because the 30 carbine already existed and if I remember right the specs are pretty close.
Also I'm not going to be caring two uppers and one lower. When zombies come I would want 2 complete weapons.

Mine are complete weapons. 300 BO seems like a 100-150 yard weapon to me. Maybe a good self defense round for the house.

Desert...two pins and you can change your 300 BO to 556 or vice versa. Not much to it.
