Tractor rebuild and Youtube Channel

Hey all. I've been working on rebuilding a little gasoline powered Japanese tractor from the early 1970's this year to use on my new property we moved to a couple years ago. Ended up having a handful of people express interest in videos of it, so I finally decided to do something about that and created a YouTube channel.

The channel is mainly going to be all the projects I have to work on around the house and property, though other stuff will likely get mixed in as well. I've uploaded my first video which is a voiceover and several of the photos I have been taking along the way and just describing the process I went through to start out on getting this tractor going. I'm going to be putting together several more videos formatted this way because until now I had only taken photos of the progress. So I apologize if it's a bit boring, but I'm going to start recording video on this project as I wrap it up and also some other projects I have in the works currently. Hope you all enjoy it.

Have fun with it! 24 minutes? You'll need some die-hard tractor fans to keep their attention that long.

Ha, no kidding. Yeah, this first set of video's is just a historical documentary basically. I have some other stuff I have shot footage of but have been trying to get some equipment I need for editing it. Stupid Amazon with their stupid outage delaying EVERYTHING.

Ended up getting what I needed locally-ish from Best Buy. Had to drive down to Salt Lake to get it though. But now I should be able to finally edit my other footage as well and get some more content on there that isn't lecture time with slides. :)

I love my tractors but restoring one is not in the cards. If the air conditioning, heat or radio don't work I would load it up and take it to the big green tractor shop. If it doesn't want to move I would call the big green tractor shop to come and get it. So far no issues with any of my JD tractors but I have only been running them about 11 years now.

I haven't bought in yet to the tractor thing, though I know it's a thing. That guy from Restoration Garage has a bunch but of course he owns the shop that can fix them up for him. Closest I've come to one is my I5 H3 since 4speed says they all sound like tractors :)

We have to have equipment to manage the place. If I didn't need a tractor, skid steer, mini-ex, etc. I wouldn't own any of it. But as a concession to age they all have to have AC/heat, radio, air ride seats, etc. for my tired old ass.
