Bad news for CA drivers. Commies attack again.

I am curious how it will change engine swap laws....or if it even will.

Good luck, and I will try to help through the process if you need it. Dealing with the CA DMV referee at pierce college was surprisingly pleasant and maybe you want to speak to someone about it first. My guess is that no one will know what the new rules entail because the state of CA is a disorganized mess.

Glad I can change the code on my Subaru myself! As rules tighten, people will find ways around them. May cost a few bucks for equipment though.

AZ & TX are high on our list. Since my daughter is a resident of TX now, I'm almost tempted to register it to her with TX plates and have less worries than the tailpipe police. Less likely to get a ticket for TX plates than deal with DMV.

Move to Indiana. It's the undeserved punchline for a lot of jokes, but I guarantee you won't deal with half the crap you do most places in this country. Heck, even concealed carry permits are free of charge here now.
