3.7 engine off road capable?

Hello, everyone,

I need some advice, I'm just about to get a H3T for off-roading, I'm really looking forward to a v8, with the off-road package. but just today I got wind of 2009 with a 3.7? engine.
So my question is.. is it capable for off-roading? not rock crawling, but some mud, and ditches, maybe a steep hill....

Considering the vast majority of H3's came with the 3.7, yes. Once you're offroad it doesn't really matter what size engine you have unless you're in something that needs high horsepower, and then you'll just be more likely to break something.

If you want a V8, I would say either wait for it, or do an engine swap. Since it's a H3T you're looking for it's going to be a long time looking to find one with a V8 but they do come up every now and then. It's worth the wait if you can hang in there. An engine swap is not the most fun thing to do.
