    Custom H2 Roof Rack

Hey guys, ended up selling my H2 and have some miscellaneous parts I'd like to clear out before starting a new Hummer project. First thing is my custom roof rack. It's a full length rack, approximately 100" L x 64" W x 8" H. Mounts to factory roof channels, includes mounting hardware. All steel construction. Includes limb riser attachment points, LED light bar mounts for 50" bar, flip open sun roof hatch, jack/shovel side mounts, spare tire mount. Just needs a fresh coat of paint. Asking $800 OBO. Located in the Wheeling, WV area.

Nice rack. If I could use it I would grab it. If you donít mind I would like as much detail as you could provide me with on how you did you limb risers.
Would build a couple of brackets to connect to my RTT.

Hey thanks. For the risers I welded a bracket with a small hole to the front hoop of the rack and installed a mini D-ring for the cable to connect to. Hope that helps!

Do you have any close up pictures of the cables? What gauge did you use? Did you just wrap it around the brush guard? If so how did you prevent it from wearing into the brush guard? Can you get the cables off quickly to get the hood open if needed?

I'm afraid this is as close a picture I can find. I wanna say it was about 3/16" cable. I used a carabiner type hook at the top to be able to quickly remove it, with turnbuckles for tension. And a metal band type clamp around the brush guard.

Thanks this is helpful. This is pretty similar to what I had been brain storming on. Good luck on getting your roof rack sold.
