Can’t hurt to stretch the transfer case motor out.

Four months is not a long time but yes, you should take the H3 onto some dirt occasionally and work the different transfer case modes along with lockers, if you have them.

Yeah, good advice to run the 4x4 through its paces a couple times. If there's an issue, you can address it.

I put my 4x4 and locker buttons to good use in a recent va-ca in Colorado/Utah. Nothing extreme, but lot of fun. Good family fun. Lower Engineer Pass (CO) was rougher than I remember several yrs ago. Crawled right through it though.

I cycle through mine about once a month. Drive a straight line forward and reverse in Lock, Low and both Lockers.
