Old Hermits Cabin

Went looking for the old Hermits Cabin. GPS said I was there. But didn't see anything.
But three trip was still worth it.
Coming around a turn and was faced with these. Of course I forgot my good camera. Had to use my phone.

Story has it the Old Hermit came back from WWI to find his girl had married someone else. So he packed up the truck and went west. Got to this area and his truck broke down. So he made a home in a cave and installed an outer wall. He spent the rest of his life trapping and keep debris off the road. At one time this was highway 6 and 50 into Nevada.
