Yeah those are really expensive. Have you seen the Lased Designs Headlight Adapters that allow you to run 7in Round Headlights that the jeep guys use? If you haven't, check them out. Also I made a video on them showing you how you can install these adpaters and what parts you need.

I plan on going this route shortly, my biggest debate is what headlights to order, the market seems to be flooded with Chinese copies and they all look to be similar units but at all different price ranges.

Yeah there is a huge price difference between the cheap no-name brand ones form china a the expensive ones. Usually the cheap ones are 60-$120. The brand name ones are $250-$1000
