i was really surprised that the track kept working great from Thanksgiving through New Years, there was one section that would get some sap on it from the tree but just a quick wipe with scotch-brite was all it took. also the track survived 80+ MPH winds on two occasions different storms, and some heavy rain. i did have to re-ballast a few spots after the rain. one bridge almost blew into the cove but i rescued it. trains are put away for now and i have a bigger track plan for next year for the garden railroad. we will be starting an O scale narrow gauge indoor layout too.
