I’m using an eBay special 4 channel 64gig micro SD dvr with also eBay cameras and 7” monitor. It’s not HD but it works for what I intended. I have front and rear cameras with plans of running some to both mirrors when time allows. I can scroll through cameras at any point and split the screen between multiple cameras at once. It’d be nice to have better resolution but HD systems are expensive and I was able to get everything for this for around $120. I’ll eventually ditch the 7” when I can swing a decent deck and use that as the display.
There are wireless system that are less labor intensive.

Yes, I'm using a Jensen bucam200j.
It is a fine mini cam for reverse function. I display it via a JVC 250bt double din.

Recently added a ESky EC170-08 back up camera with a Schwarttzy spare tire mount . Currently connected to a JVC KW-V230BT headunit
