Bought a factory got some brush guards

Well I bought an abandoned bumper factory. So far I've found Silverado SS front bumpers, s10 rear bumpers and this brush guard. It lines up perfectly to h3 grill, so I assume that's what it's for. But I don't think I've ever seen one quite like it. It had gm part #s on it but when I looked them up it didn't bring anything up. Anyone know anything about it?

Maybe a prototype accessory grille, that never saw production? Looks like the upper portion of the H3X grille.

Well I did quite a bit of searching and think they are for an H2. Didn't realize the H2 grill was so close in size to the h3

I'll freely admit that it's none of my business, but I see your from Indiana. Where and what factory did you buy?

Yes these were a factory luxury looking brush guards for the H2. From what I know they were only avaible from 2006 to 2007. The one you have looks to be from 2006 because it is gray and was only offered on the 2006 pacific blue limted edition. The 2007 one was featured in orange, which gm called "fusion orange."

Definitely not an H3 brush guard. They mount right onto the frame:

Acer4Lo- Thank you sir, that is quite interesting. There is a good chance I might find some of the orange ones as well. There are a lot boxes and places I have not looked yet into. One of my employees found a ton of chrome HUMMER letters, as he described it to me. I have no idea where and I have no idea why he didn't get me at least one.

08H3- Nothing wrong with asking. It was Sheller Global in Portland Indiana. All of the calendars I have found were from 95', but the majority of the auto parts I have found are around the 2003-2006. So i am not 100% sure when they shut down but I am guessing 2005. Its a 10-acre lot with 1 main building with about 70,000 sqft and a handful of other smaller buildings.

Small world! I was born in Hartford City, grew up in Montpelier (site of another Sheller Globe plant, now BRC), and still live in the area.

@08H3 neat! My family owns Goodhew's Roofing Service, and we do a lot of work up that way. So you may have heard of that. I am from Ridgeville, a small town you might have heard from

@rascole yep! I think there will be quite a bit of Hummer stuff in there. Hopefully, it will be H3 stuff, but I will be happy with any.

@650HAWK yep I hope there are a few of those in there somewhere!

Actually you are partially right. I had a Fusion Orange H2 but she was an 06 as was the Pacific Blue. Both were limited editions, wish I still had her. Traded her in towards an Alfa Romeo 4C in 16, now I’m starting to get the fever again, but for an 08 or 09. Thx...

Do you have any of the brush guards left to sell? I’d like to buy one
