The D60 will require some “creative” engineering. I have done many D44 swaps on H3’s and I have lots of trial & error stories. It’s very tight with a D44 but, the axle fits perfectly and drives very much like a stock-ish H3. The total lift can stay around 4.5” over stock which is great for daily driving.
A D60 is considerably larger, so you can expect the ride height, wheelbase, and turning radius to be toward the hard-core (dump truck) end of the spectrum...even though that’s not your intended use. The shear size of the D60 will drive the build into hard-core territory.
