Got some new shoes a few days ago. Went with 37x12.5r17 cooper stt pro. So far I like them and they are really quiet compared to the old 35 kumo mt. Still rocking 4.10 but I think I will bump up to 4.88 to get some more power for pulling my expedition trailer.

Also got some organizing done for all my tools, recovery, bail out bag and other misc crap

Did you have to do keys or anything else to get the 37’s to work?

As of right now I haven’t done anything. When I get a chance I will do some flexing to check clearance but from what others have done here, it doesn’t seem to be an issue

I like those tires! I haven't gone that direction on the H3 simply because they are much more expensive than the competition, at least in the size I want.

Thanks alrock. The cheapest place I found them was Walmart. Got them for less than 300 a tire and free pick up at store. Took them to my buddies shop and traded him my old new spare for free mount and balance. First time I had a tires bead balanced and so far tires are smooth with no vibes.

Still no clearance issues? I was thinking about going with 37’s but the guys I bought my 35’s from said I would have to do keys to not have clearance problems.

Sorry guys. Haven’t been on lately. Life’s been a little hectic. I will post up later tonight with measurements. I get slight rub when wheels are turned. It is very slight and in one spot. It is where the wheel well plastic bulges out on the bottom. There is give behind the wheel well in that area and does not concern me. It is only about a 1/4 inch where it rubs

Here is a pic where you can see the rub. Again there is nothing behind so it is not hurting anything

Tire height is approximately 36” at 40psi with weight of truck. I think cooper states the tire is 36.8” so I lost about 3/4”.

No problem. The only con is that it hunts gears at highway speed. I’m planning on going 4.88 in the future. It’s better than my old h3 with 35s and the 3.7 so you can live with it if you don’t want to spend the money.
