I was invited along with some Jeep friends of mine as we headed up to Sedona to wheel Broken Arrow and Schnebly Hill. Broken Arrow is a short scenic trail that's best know for the Pink Jeep tours that take tourists on the trail. It's 2-3 hours to do that trail. Schnebly Hill is a road between I-17 and Sedona but it's definitely high-clearance only. It's 2 hours for the 17 miles with lots of rocks and bumps towards Sedona. Closer to I-17 it's dirt, but because of recent snow in the area it was all mud. I don't like mud.
Here's Mark coming down the rocks from Submarine Rock
Chris, the one that got us together, coming up a rock
Jason (whom some of you know) coming up that same rock
Parker
Donovan starting the Devil's Staircase. It's a easy, fun obstacle (one way only) where you just let gravity do its thing.
Mark at the bottom of the Staircase
Jason, with one of the Pink Jeep tours behind him
There are some great views on Schnebly Hill Road
Then we hit snow and mud
