So i figured i might as well start a build thread. I dont have that many pics of the installs, because when i started doing them i didnt even know these forums even existed haha
Alright so for starters i have an 08 H3 alpha birch white, which i got from a repo dealer only auction from georgia of all places, and i live in NY!! The funny story is that the car was hiding in the garage for like 3 days and i had been in and out of the garage and didnt even notice it!! haha. IT started with about 16000 miles on it, and it she has about 26xxx miles to date.
So for some pics...
Here are a few pics of when i got her and before i started putting mods on.

I pulled the chrome nerfs off and took her out for her first mud!!

After that little trip i had the Hummer bug and it wasnt leaving anytime soon! I was obsessed with hummers! Thats when i found these various hummer forums and started educating myself about this vehicle.

First real mods

After i started educating myself i picked me up a brushguard, kinda felt like my car had a mustache after i put it on haha
This is also when i realized that chrome accessories were no good :shifty:
here are a few pics of that
This is the real wheels brushguard double tier with inserts, i like it cuz its farther off of the grill then the OEM one.

AFter the brushguard came the off road lights!!
I boought 4 KC longrange slimlites for the roof and 2 KC slimlite driving lights for the brushguard (these lights are really bright!! messed up my cars day/night light sensor too!)
I had these mounted on the real wheels light bar (which is ridiculously pricey for how simple it is)
I took her to a shop that i trust (familiy friend) and them help with the install. It all looked nice after it was done, except im thinking of relocating the switches.
Here are a few pics of the finished install

After the lights came the bike rack, i am an avid mountian biker, and the interiior space of the 3 is too small fora bike.
A couple pics...

More mods!

After those upgrades came the GOBI ladder ( so i could get to my bike easier)
The ladder installs real easy ( for those who don't know) it basically clamps itself onto the rear door, takes about 10-15 min to install, do drilling required
Along with the ladder came the steelcraft rear light protectors, these bolt onto the existing bolts in the 3

Here are a couple of pics of the finished install

Oh yea and i threw those stickers on there too at some point...cant remember when hehe

AFter those came the CB

I chose the Midland 75-822 40 Channel radio, i particularly like this one, because in a few seconds you can turn it into a handheld that you can carry, and it doenst take up as much space as a normal full size CB does on the interior.
With that radio i bought dual 4 foot solarcon antennas. Since then I have upgraded to just one 4' firestick ( i snapped one antenna at the badlands :( )

I mounted the antennas with the mirror mounts they came with on the light guards, im probably going to find a better mounting location in the near future.

I like build threads -- seeing everyone's trucks transform is one of the best parts of the forum. Keep it comin'! :corn:

Yes the gobi ranger with spare came! I installed it today. The install was super easy, basically just put some bolts and brackets on. The only problem was that they sent me the fairing for the fj cruiser instead of the 3. The only hard part i had was removing the real wheels light bar because part of it was held on with 3m sticky tape.
Here are some pics of the rack
