    Question

H3 tie rods, it seems that GM went to a bigger diameter tie rod sometime after 06. Will it matter if I have the smaller ones on my 06 and go to the larger 22mm I believe? Is the thread the same at the rack? I'm replacing all four this week.

The smaller diameter is 14mm and the larger later model ones are 16mm. If you purchase the 16mm for both sides they will work with the spindles but you will need both the tie rod and tie rod ends to make it work. Hope that helps.

** I would suggest contacting outfitter design for their upgraded ones.

Yes. 16mm will fit on a truck that came with 14mm without any modifications.
You just have to change the inner and outer as a set the first time.
