First time I drove the H3 since Moab and had to grab a battery.

Have to go get the tires rotated today, welding the diff is really taking a toll on these tires quicker than I thought

Road trip to the Smoky Mountains. The white container on top is full of spare parts and tools. I realize this borders on insanity, but I almost always pack like I'm going wheeling. Wife says it's OK though. She says by bringing all that stuff, it virtually guarantees we'll never need any of it!PXL_20210619_142118471.jpg

Everyone that I know who has been up toward Pigeon Forge lately said it is so busy that it is one big traffic jam. Hopefully your experience was better.

It was bad-- not the worst I've ever seen, but it was busy. We have been going to the area for so many years, we know most of the backroads so we are able to get around a lot of it. Totally agree though. The area is definitely suffering from over-tourism.

Swapped out my brush guard from a previous h3t owner. The one I had on was better quality but this one had welded on light mounts.

T-case

I freshened up the t-case. New bearings and seals. Replaced the already aluminum shift fork since it had some wear.
Never done one before. Everything went well. Nice when there’s no drama.

Flexed out panzer and did some much needed trimming...tried to keep the ARB and fender trimming as clean, functional, and visually pleasant as possible.20210708_190524.jpg20210708_190509.jpg20210708_173119.jpg20210708_173019.jpg

Not quite on the h3 specifically, but I scored a set of 2009 h3 service manuals on Craigslist, basically brand new too!

Did you replace the valve body? If yes, what part number did you use?

Hey Oscar.

No I didn't replace my valve body. it looked perfect when we pulled it apart. I know how difficult it is to get one of these so I was kina hesitant to permanently modify it for performance lol but here we are.
