    Trails near Jacksonville, NC?

The closest legal trails are in Uwharrie national forest. There are some mud pits around Lejeune but have no idea if the MPs will rain down on you. There are some trails around the beaches near Wilmington but nothing really challenging. We have a North Carolina Hummer group on Facebook if you want to organize a group trip. There's a retired Marine (Jerry Holt) in the group that's a Hummer mechanic near you for if you ever need any help with your rig.
