    Trees Ranch, Katemcy Rocks. They're more to the Hill Country, but not too terribly far from Marble Falls.

    Try getting involved with a local off road group. They will know all the best trails and you won't have to go alone.

    Look into Midnight Four Wheelers in SA. Ft. Hood has a Military Jeepers club, might be a chapter down in SA too. Google something like "Jeep 4wd 4x4 offroad club San Antonio" and see what comes up, ck the same on FB.
