Day 1 of the Vermont Overland Trophy is done. 7 hours of amazingly beautiful trails. Lots of winching and carnage!!! The Hummer performed flawlessly! I'm so happy how everything works on the truck. We were leading the comp until the last challenge stage. It's was SOOO tight so we got penalized for maneuvering. A Jeep TJ drove right through it. They penalize you if you stop, or go backwards and since we had to maneuver to avoid the trees we got hammered. No big deal. The comp has only started and who knows what the next days bring. So far we're to only rig to not have winched yet. :D Coverage is really sketchy out here so I have no idea what kind of updates I'll be able to do. I hope to have some action shots or even some video.

Today's trails were amazing!!! 6 hours of driving a never ending river bed and some regular trails. The more I drive my the truck the more I'm impressed with how it performs. Love it! :D

Thanks everyone! This is our camp site for next couple of days. It's on top of a really steep hill that requires winching. Still no videos uploaded. Got a few just can't get a solid enough connection to upload.

Very cool! Echoing what Alrock says, I'm glad to see this truck driven as well. Often the really cool builds like your H3 never see anything but pavement and carwashes for the rest of their lives. Good luck on the rest of the run.
