New H3 owner with vehicle issues

Awright, you likely have two issues. 1) Passlock is not working properly and a component of the ignition switch needs to be replaced. Not a difficult fix, just search for Passlock issues on H3s. As for the check engine light, we'd need to know the actual codes. Any shop should be able to provide...

    H3T Alpha exhaust advice

Did you get the specific codes? You might be able to get away with a cheater/spacer in the downdraft O2 sensor that pulls it out of the exhaust stream. I'd start there, unless the codes you received conclusively indicate the cats. (Note that I said the codes, not the dealer! :) ) You might have...

    H3T Alpha exhaust advice

All of the cats are bad? What symptoms are you having that got them to this diagnosis? I can't recall how many cats the Alphas have. Is it 2, 3, or 4?

    Idle issues

Might be worth trying the camshaft position solenoid. Hate throwing parts at it, but at least it's not an expensive part.

You've never seen this H2 modification before...

I wonder if I could use this on the street to keep the bad drivers away.

    Idle issues

Spark plugs are a good idea. Clean the MAF sensor. Clean the throttle body. Check the stubby little rubber hose that goes from the valve cover to the air box (effectively the PCV though it's not exactly that) to make sure it's connected and holding. You didn't mention any codes so is it correct...

    Vented Battery Box...

Batteries last ~2 years in Phoenix. I was hoping AGMs would last longer but I don't think they do, or at least not measurably longer. I put in new AGM batteries Dec 2017, Jan 2020, Nov 2021.

need help with front shaft issues

First, you can run your H3 in 2wd by putting it in 4 high lock (the middle button) and removing the front driveshaft. Second, I'm guessing they are putting in aftermarket CV joints and they simply don't last long. An AC Delco driveshaft will last longer, but that's still not the solutoin. You...

The NEW H4O shirts are available!

A single XL is available, no XXL I can print some shirts if needed, and if there is a demand. I'd like to know if we should stick with black or choose another color. I can also start a new thread on this.

    Vented Battery Box...

Is the wrap to keep the battery warmer, or to help protect it from the heat of the engine? Heat kills batteries more than cold does. With cold they don't hold a charge as well but with heat they break down more quickly.

lifting the rear of the hummer h3

Torsion keys are not necessary to lift the front end of the H3. All you need to do is turn the torsion bars via the bolt at the aft end of the torsion bar and set it to whatever height you want. Please be careful as putting too much height in the front end can destroy CV axles and steering racks.

Rear bump stops needed with a Rancho 4" Lift???

The ride is the same whether spring over or under. The front was lifted with a Rancho lift kit. Unless you have a Rancho, do a custom lift or do a SAS, it doesn't make sense to do a spring over in the back.

Hummer H3 lift kit - Lets get down to it

The other thing to consider, and I hate saying this, is that the forum traffic is way down and you have a limited audience here. You may need to consider other marketing and research efforts like FB. (Ugh). You will likely get a lot more interest.
