Here's the repairs done to my transmission. $3200 for the rebuild. Glad I took it in as it had more to fix than I could have done.

I need to replace the front diff bushing-- is the Rancho cross member 1st or 2nd gen sized?

So...what are we doing with 2025 Black Sheep week?

I'm in with the Jeep once more. We got a puppy so it may be just me. Or... me and the pup?

I'm getting consistent 2800-3200 rebuild prices. Found one with a 3 year 36000 warranty... I think that will do. Yeah I need to resurrect the h3 so it can intimidate my jeep.

Ok thanks for the advice-- first shop I called offered a 3200 rebuild. At that price diff it's worth paying them as it would be a struggle and a very long gig for me. Will call around this week...

Ok, after NOT working on this for like a year-- I'm starting planning for the fix, wondering if I shoul djust go for a new tranny-- around $2000 after shippping from www.fraserengineco.com. The solenoid thing may or may not fix it, and there's also valce things-- and parts aren't that readily...

Hummer H3 STAB SYS Error (65253)

What happy hummer said-- this is wheel speed sensors, and they will block other things from working, you also won't get it to shift to 4 low without working wheel speed sensors.

So...what are we doing with 2025 Black Sheep week?

If you throw in free DQ I'm in. At least for part of the week. Would prefer Moab as its closer but sand hollow was great as well.

I'm planning on it. Coral Pink Sand Dunes should be on the list too. That was spectacular and a highlight.

STOLEN! William Kaufman's SAS H2 & H3 With F450 Tow Rig and Trailer were stolen

Damn thats good news. Looking forward to seeing those back on the trail. I have some good per-thievery action pics of these rigs. With only a few of them out there its heartbreaking to hear one was chopped up. Hope it can be rebuilt.

    Tranny Recommend?

I have a similar issue-- mine won't shift to reverse. But the code on mine points to the solenoid not a whole tranny rebuild. That will be relatively easy once I clear out my garage and get her inside... do you have a code reader, and does it have any codes? Mine was P0741.

    Rubicon 2023 Crazy edition

Way late-- but I have lots of TCase parts in my garage. PM me if you need parts and things (for tcase). I ended up just buying one new but have a few sets of parts.

The h3 has also taught me the only way I can afford an h3 is fixing it myself... :) Plus I did buy a new rubicon, so there goes my money!!!

So after talking with dealers, searching forums, all that-- I'm going to bring it into the garage, drop the transmission pan, and look at replacing the solenoids with something like this: https://www.mts-performance.com/product_info.php?products_id=424 That *could* do it, I'll also just swap...

2024 Black Sheep Week recap, Sand Hollow

Well nothing technically REQUIRES lockers but you prob won't be successful without em. That's probably true for most of Sand Hollow!!! Yeah lots of slipping on sand on slickrock. It's like if you dumped a boatload of slippery sand on Moab.
