It was my birthday, so we went on a road trip. I love Krispy Kreme, but unfortunately there are none nearby. Also love steak, but my favorite steakhouse is 450 miles away, so we made a weekend of...

So, when can you get me scheduled for the swap?!
That is a fantastic video. I always loved watching the Wayalife videos. This is very reminiscent of those.
I had Destination MTs a couple sets back. They were great tires, but one of my complaints was they did not wear evenly from one tire to the next. When they got to 3/8" difference I sold them and...
Haha! Best explanation yet! That's why I always black out when I hit 88mph merging onto the interstate!
That's awesome! I did something similar years ago. Was quickly surrounded by two city cops and a sheriff's deputy. Got a big lecture about illegal use of colored lights and how I was probably...
No...I live in Indiana, not California! :)
Zach...you mentioned it had no delivering dealer. I honestly cant remember since it has been so long ago, but did the PEP cars have a delivering dealer...
Here is the SPID if that helps anyone.

Thanks, man! That would be awesome. Like I said, I'm pretty certain the car itself is nothing special, but the story might be. I'll PM you the VIN this evening.
There would definitely be some cool factor there, but no, it's definitely not a diesel Corvette! It is a regular production 51XXXXX VIN built in April 99. By the way, is that true of all GM...
I've had this car for several years, but I have never found anyone who was able to explain exactly what this decal means and why it would have been put on this car. I even asked at the NCM archives...
Back to the comments about the 2wd transfer case-- I can tell you from a 3000 mile trip a couple years back that you will gain exactly 0mpg with the front axle disconnected. It's certainly your...
Probably good advice. I'll be the first to admit I'm no expert, but I checked things over pretty well. Most severe hit was more than 250k ago, so probably anything from that would have shown up by...
Just got rear ended for the third time in the H3's lifetime. Still undefeated at 3-0. The Thor bumper is awesome!
I always keep a McDonald's gift card in the console in case I forget my wallet.
Looks like a lot of fun. That first picture would have been a good time to change your oil, transfer case fluid, and anything else you might need to do under there!
I'm not stepping into this debate, BUT I wanted to say how refreshing it is to see a discussion like this on the internet remain civil. That's unheard of in today's age.
Virtually every person on here says their transfer case fluid gets dirty quickly and looks terrible when changed. Am I the only person who does NOT experience this? I really don't understand the...
Similar thing happened to me as well. There was no outward sign anything was out of the ordinary with the hose. Mine was also an '08 left front.

Sorry...I misread as passenger side. Yeah, I can't believe after all these years someone hasn't come up with an aftermarket GM blower resistor. I've come to expect to replace the one on my truck...
If it's the blower resistor that you are referring to, there was a recall on that. If that's what it is, the problem will only get worse until it quits working altogether.
Hummer EV is cool, but I'm waiting until these things come up years from now on government auctions. It's basically a Colorado on steroids after chugging a case of Red Bull. Looks pretty cool....
Don't know if this necessarily applies to the H3, but I do rember some posts on an F Body board about the throttle position sensor causing this. Good luck getting it sorted out.
Thought I would add my input to my own original question. I've had them for 9,000 miles and been very happy. For anything I have done, I don't see any revolutionary improvement over the KM2, but...
I probably never should have made that comment. You are fine. There was just a thread on here years ago regarding T-Case fluid that became more heated than a Trump-Biden debate.
