I would prefer that the H2 was designed not to ride on its bump stops. Seems like a very odd design... but yes it does ride a lot better with the bump stops in good condition. Great write up. Also,...

No need for loctite of any kind. Just torque the nut to 22 lb ft and make sure to fit the alignment tab in the bump stop alignment hole.
The ones you linked are the same ones that...
The GM part #15835667. I replaced mine a few weeks ago and found ebay was the cheapest. Around $20 each.
That view is gorgeous. How wide are the trails at Bell? Hope to not damage paint

I'll be out of town then and for most of April. Let me know the next time
What are you torquing them down to?
Sounds like a crank position sensor to me?

I am here. It's been a while since I went off roading ever since I started working. I would like to try to make an event if you can get one together.
Well it started working fine today...

Will give this a try
Not that I noticed (it's garaged and driven a few times a week). I pulled the door panel and checked to make sure the switch is properly plugged in
Wish I saw this thread before I replaced the brakes and front bump stops on Saturday.

Yeah, I tried park and neutral too. It worked intermittently a few times and now it just won't work at all.
My 2005 H2 memory seat buttons don't work. I am able to hold down the "1" or "2" button to set the memory and it will beep like normal as if it recorded the seat position, but when I change the seat...
Does anyone have the P/N for the OEM shocks? Also, what would you recommend for better ride quality? My H2 is coming up on 90k miles with its factory set of shocks and I am wondering if it should be...
Thanks! I will give them a shot if I need to return to the dealer.
I completely agree with you. They did respond to my initial review with a generic response though.
I don't count on them...
I agree. The variation of customer service is astounding. In this day and age, you see internet companies battling it out for who has the best customer service... If only dealerships had this kind of...
Hey all,
With so few Hummer dealers around these days, I figured I'd warn fellow Hummer owners about my awful experiences with Carl Black GMC Kennesaw off of Barrett Pkwy in Kennesaw, GA. Here is...
They never created the H2 alpha like they promised.

Dealer wants $9 for it and they don't charge anything to cut it. I'll be picking one up later this week.
The ones I'm looking at all say OEM. Not sure the validity on that but I'll try to get a quote from the dealer.

The plastic portion at the top of my key is getting worn down. I would like to order a key blank and have the key copied by a locksmith. I see a lot of key blanks on ebay, would they work?
You most likely will break at least one clip. But the good thing about doing it yourself is that you know it's broken, so you can replace it. The stealership won't even replace it or tell you. I had...
It is very easy to remove the door panel... too easy IMO which I suspect is why these crappy plastic panels rattle so much.
